This time I’ll bring you guys something really good, the Frostmourne and Arthas Warcraft cosplay.

WarcraftIII is one of the famous PC game launched by Blizzard. Among all the great weapons, Arthas’ powerful sword Frostmourne has always ruled the market and attracted the most attention. Now I’m going to show you how to make this incredible stuff.

Material: GRP, polyester putty, spray paint.

Tool: mud, plaster, spray gun

1. draw the weapon’s outline on wooden board, make sure you paint it symmetrically if it’s so. In this picture I use Warden’s weapon instead, of course the Frostmourne is the same procedure.

2. form the model of it with mud, so as the armor. Don’t be afraid to try, because actually it’s not a difficult job. It’s kinda like you play with plasticene in the childhood. First form the shape in the big picture, then detail the specific parts.

3. when you’ve done the sculpture, spray some soap water, then make the model with plaster. Usually, I’ll handle it to some professional to finish it. However, if you’re interested, you can do it on your own in case that you’ve got a unfurnished room or a yard at home because it really brings a lot of powder and rubbish.

4. fulfill the plaster mode with resin and glass fiber, and then vent it until it’s solid. Be patient because it’s chemical reaction. This is how it is.

5. there must be some bubble and uneven parts on the weapon. Sand it with raw sand paper and fine sandpaper till it’s smooth. Clean the surface and dry it.

6.the armor is the same process. Now you can stabilize the screws and brackets on the armor with resin.

7.color it as the routine in previous articles if you’ve read some. That is to spray a layer of black paint to make the basement, then color it according to what you need, such as gold or silver.

8.fine things like Frostmourne need spray gun to deal with the color transition in details.
